Non-Alcoholic Paloma Recipe FAQs
What is a Paloma made of?
Tequila, grapefruit soda and fresh lime over ice, often with a pinch or rim of salt. The non-alcoholic version swaps in an alcohol-free agave spirit.
What is the difference between a Paloma and a margarita?
A Paloma is a long, fizzy highball built on grapefruit soda, while a margarita is a short, shaken drink built on orange liqueur and lime.
Can you make a Paloma without alcohol?
Yes. Use a non-alcoholic tequila alternative such as Miss Agave with grapefruit soda and lime.
Does a Paloma have salt?
Often, yes. A pinch of salt or a salted rim lifts the grapefruit and balances the tartness.
