Non-Alcoholic Daiquiri Recipe FAQs

What is a daiquiri made of?

Just three things: white rum, fresh lime juice and sugar, shaken hard and served straight up. The non-alcoholic version uses an alcohol-free white rum.

Can you make a daiquiri without alcohol?

Yes. A non-alcoholic white rum such as Señorita Bianco with fresh lime and sugar syrup makes a crisp zero-proof daiquiri.

Is a daiquiri served frozen or shaken?

The classic daiquiri is shaken and served straight up in a coupe. Frozen daiquiris, often with fruit, are a separate blended variation.

Is a daiquiri sweet or sour?

Balanced. The sugar and lime should offset each other so it tastes bright and crisp rather than sharp or syrupy.
