Non-Alcoholic Negroni Recipe FAQs
What is a non-alcoholic Negroni made of?
Equal parts alcohol-free gin, alcohol-free vermouth and a non-alcoholic bitter aperitif, stirred over ice with an orange peel. The classic 1:1:1 build, at 0.0% ABV.
Does a non-alcoholic Negroni still taste bitter?
Yes. The bitterness comes from the botanicals in the aperitif and vermouth, not from the alcohol, so a well-made zero-proof Negroni keeps that signature bittersweet edge.
What can I use instead of Campari in a non-alcoholic Negroni?
A non-alcoholic bitter orange aperitif such as Signorina Valentina, which gives the same red colour and bittersweet finish without the alcohol.
Is a Negroni stirred or shaken?
Always stirred. Stir it over ice for 20 to 30 seconds to chill and gently dilute, then strain over fresh ice.
